Laurie Knudsen, CDEI has been practicing real estate in the Charlotte metro area since 1995. She has worked with numerous buyers and sellers, is a real estate trainer and been Broker-in-Charge for large and small firms. She teaches Postlicensing, Prelicensing and Continuing Education courses for the Canopy Real Estate Institute. 

Laurie is a trained real estate mediator and has served on the Canopy Realtor® Association board as its president and treasurer. In 2021, the Canopy Realtor® Association honored her with the Realtor® of the Year award.  

“I love and respect the real estate industry and am delighted to share this love and respect with my students,” she says. “In what other industry can you, for very little money, have your own business?  You can take it or leave it, but if you decide to jump in, the sky’s the limit.”
